Happy New Year everyone. Here’s looking ahead to 2015. And to start you off, here are some photos from our recent trip to Scotland. The sculptures are the Kelpies, near Falkirk / Grangemouth. This is also the first time I’ve tried using my phone for “serious” photography, mostly on the basis that the best camera is the one you actually have with you. Not an iPhone, thank heavens – this is a Samsung. I was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality, though it is of course all short-lens stuff.
