Out and about

Some photos from the local area.  Oilseed rape in a field just a few minutes’ walk away, and bluebells at the Ashridge estate.  We were a bit early for the bluebells, to be honest – another couple of weeks and it will be a carpet of colour.  But you can still get a feel for the bluebell woods, which are rather lovely.

Also got to play with my tripod, ND filter and really slow exposures – not something you normally do with animal photography.  Highlights in the gallery below; you can see the full set here.

More posts to follow, with some shots from our weekend in York, and from trips to Whipsnade and London Zoo.  Sadly we didn’t manage to see the tiglets, but that’s why the zoo has Cub Cam 🙂
